G2Play are in a class of their own when it comes to online game retail. With more than 300,000 registered customers and over 130,000 Facebook likes, the figures really do speak for themselves. They claim their popularity is down to their elite support team that staff their support desks to offer around the clock assistance seven days a week and promise a reply to any emails within a 30 minute time period. This may be true, but to have an effective customer service team, you need to first have a customer base and to do this, effective marketing and a solid product must be at least two aces you already hold up you sleeve. This not only speaks for the product, but also for the professionalism and knowledge that they hold in their field.
As a first time customer, the first thing that stood out to me as the cinema screen style slider in the middle of their homepage (again, G2Play’s clever marketing comes in to play) that housed their top-sellers. Seeing some great offers on equally great titles -such as Battlefield 1; World of Warcraft: Legion; Civilization VI and Dishonored 2-, my interest in making a purchase became apparent and I clicked to take a closer look at the latter. Rather than taking me straight to what I clicked for, G2Play sent me to a page with another four options. It turned out that, not only was I getting a great price on -what I hoped to be- a great game (with instant delivery, I might add), but a selection of four great prices on four different variations of bundles. Here, I saw a package which included the Imperial Assassins DLC for only 60p ($0.76 USD) extra at £32.79 ($41.00 USD), along with an option which required me to use a Russian VPN to play. This was a full £8 ($10.00 USD) cheaper, but I felt it would be much easier in the long run if I was to just buy Dishonored 2 with the DLC like originally intended, so I hit ‘Buy’.
The buying experience on G2Play was pretty straight forward. I was happy to see I could skip a lengthy registration process by logging in through Facebook, and equally happy to see I was getting a small amount of cashback known as G2Play Reward. Whilst this was only 35p (around $0.50 USD) it was still nice to know that by using this site more in the future, I could further add to this balance. After a smooth experience checking out using my credit card I checked my email to see the code was already there. Instant delivery had become the cherry atop an already delicious cake.
There is no doubt in my mind that I will be returning to G2Play for future purchases. The whole experience had a pleasant aura about it and was a simple and quick process. I have since recommended this site to many of my friends and I’m delighted to tell you that you too can save further money on G2Play by using the coupon provided above.
